This project began as a professional inquiry into how teachers can better use movement with middle and upper-grade students in the classroom setting. Over the 2015-16 school year, a team of three of us developed activities that incorporate movement into the curriculum. In experimenting with classroom seating, developing age-appropriate management techniques, and redefining transition-time during a class, we created a set of resources for teachers to use in the middle school classroom.
