As a teacher who actively uses the classroom walls to teach, I needed to create a space for students to make their learning visible and draw conceptual understanding into our new environment under the conditions of Covid-19. To this end, my teaching team chose to build a virtual classroom for students using Google Sites. Each unit begins with a 'Home Page' introducing the key concept and vocabulary terms. As students move through the cycle of inquiry-action-reflection, the unit pages grow and develop through formative work. The units below are a sample of what students at Chadwick International have experienced during this time.
